Our story

DASSY® Europe bv is a Belgian professional workwear brand for professionals from various sectors, such as construction workers, painters, electricians, carpenters, etc. With more than 50 years of experience, we guarantee the highest quality and functionality.

The Derere family set up DASSY® in 2007 as a spin-off from their textile group Dress Confect. In 2022, the investment group Dovesco acquired DASSY®.

Our core business
From the very beginning, we’ve had a real ‘passion for the profession’ at DASSY®. Not just our own profession, but also that of our customers. That’s why we focus on the design, production and distribution of quality, professional workwear. Via an extensive dealer network, our market share grows each day in more than 20 European countries.

1. In-house R&D department

Our creative and experienced R&D team sets to work each day creating innovative, functional workwear. This is always done with the needs of specialised professionals in mind. Because we understand better than anyone else what they really need. Our workwear fits the job.

2. Own production centre

GP Garments produces high-quality workwear for DASSY®. Our state-of-the-art production facility was set up in the 1990s in Avissawella, Sri Lanka. Did you know that strict quality controls are built in throughout our production process? At every step, close monitoring ensures that each garment produced by DASSY® meets all standards and requirements. Because those who are passionate about the profession, are only satisfied with perfection.

3. Own distribution centre

In 2021, in addition to the existing 7000 m² semi-automatic warehouse, a new 5000 m² warehouse was built from scratch, of which 2000 m² was fully automated. For this, DASSY® received the ‘Logistics Project of the Year Award’ in 2022. By optimising our logistics processes, we can guarantee excellent service.

Our state-of-the-art distribution centre also houses the largest stock levels ever (over 1,000,000 items). This permanent stock allows us to achieve a delivery rate of over 97%. In this way, we can respond quickly to the specific needs of the professional market.
