The Flanders Institute for Logistics (Vlaams Instituut voor de Logistiek or VIL for short) is the innovation platform for the logistics sector. VIL helps Flanders-based companies carry out innovative logistics projects, enhancing their competitiveness in the process. It receives grants for this purpose from the Flemish government.
As a membership organization, VIL brings together companies and organizations from various sectors – shippers and logistics service providers as well as knowledge institutions, public bodies and companies from the IT, engineering, temporary employment, construction, real estate and fashion worlds – offering unique networking opportunities.
