How do you link sustainable to hip? Originality to fair production? It is with that core idea that An Boone started Mr. Manchette. Passionate about all things fair and inspired by fashion, she let her creativity loose on ’the men’s shirt’. There was a gap, a gap between wearable and sustainable, between ‘fun to wear’ and fair.  From the outset, Mr. Manchette opted for fair production and has his shirts made in Portugal, at premium shirtmakers. In soft fabrics, free of pesticides and chemicals, and with attention to upcycling and the use of eco-friendly and natural raw materials.
