Karolien Verstraeten is a Belgian fashion brand based in Antwerp.

Designer Karolien Verstraeten grew up in Ghent and earned her degree in architecture there. She then moved to Antwerp to study fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She won the ARTOS Prize for her first collection and fashion show.

The success of her graduation project sparked her dream of launching her own brand. She launched her first collection of contemporary dresses in 2009 with great success.

In the following years, the label released several collections in the well-known, timeless “Karolien Verstraeten style” and was sold in various boutiques in the Benelux.

In 2016, Karolien is taking things a step further. Out of a love for the craft, she is launching a new concept this year. She aims to revitalize the tailoring profession with a bespoke collection for fashion-conscious women and brides.
