1951: The Dubois company began representing Hutchinson products.
1965: Dubois joined forces with the French Hutchinson group, owner of the AIGLE brand.
1971: Dubois established itself as a market leader for riding boots, hunting boots, and fishing boots.
1974: SEBAGO DOCKSIDES chose Dubois to penetrate the Belgian market. This decision proved to be a resounding success for the company.
1982: After the death of her brother, Monsieur Jean Dubois, Mrs. Irma Dubois took over as CEO. From 1983 onward, she was supported by her son, Jean-Jacques Vankeerberghen.
1984-85: Both AIGLE and SEBAGO entrusted Dubois with the distribution of their products in the Netherlands.
1985: Dubois becomes the exclusive distributor in the Benelux for ALLEN EDMONDS, the American leader in quality footwear.
1987: Dubois resumes distribution of ALLEN EDMONDS in France.
1990: Mr. Jean-Jacques Vankeerberghen becomes CEO, assisted by his wife, Marie-Cécile Rosman.
1992: Dubois becomes the exclusive distributor in Belgium and Luxembourg for CATERPILLAR shoes.
1993: With the BERGHEN brand, Dubois develops its own brand of shoes and clothing.
2002: Dubois’s warehouse and distribution space moves to the Nivelles industrial estate.
2011: Dubois celebrates its 60th anniversary.
2013: The BRBL brand (technical socks) is added to the DUBOIS brand range.
2015: Napapirij shoes are now available in the DUBOIS collection.
