WHO WE ARE …

Piessens NV was founded by Florent Piessens in the 1950’s. In it’s first thirty years, the company was acive as a regional wholesaler of footwear.

In the 1980’s, Jan Piessens took the business nationwide, and expanded into the development of branded collections, under licence.

Today this is our core competency. As a third generation family business, Piessens NV designs and manufactures shoe collections for a number of high profile Belgian fashion brands and distributes them in the Benelux, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and Japan.

For brands like Scapa, Caroline Biss and Gigue, we supply both the brand’s flagship stores and independent retailers. For other brands such as Xandres, Mayerline, Ameline and LivTheLabel, Piessens NV only delivers to the brand’s Flagship stores.

Piessens NV is about more than selling shoes. It’s experienced and motivated staff controls the entire supply chain, from development in the factory to delivery at the client.

With a client base of more than 500 stores, ranging from large multiplatform retailers to small boutiques, we are uniquely positioned to keep a finger on the pulse of changing fashion trends. We leverage this with a history of excellence in manufacturing, driven by long term relationships with factories in Italy and Portugal. As a result, we have a proven track record in delivering a product to our retail partners that is fashionable, high-quality, and attuned to their client base.
