Biography
THE FRIENDLY MONSTER IS A CLOTHING BRAND FOR LITTLE AND BIG CHILDREN.
Our approach is to find the nostalgia of our childhood through our collection or for the little ones to start a long way in sparkling outfits.
The collection revolves around the centerpiece: overalls, halfway between disguise and clothing. We find good-natured textile prints with an eco-responsible and ethical approach that we find with accessories created from fabric scraps from the permanent collection.
OUR HISTORY
begins with the birth of a little man and the desire of his mother to sew him clothes, such is the tradition that is perpetuated from mother to daughter in the family.
I studied illustration and fashion design at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts where I had the chance to work with exceptional teachers such as Mr. Pion who gave me a lot of knowledge in terms of DIY. Divided between drawing and sewing, I naturally began to create patterns that I transposed onto fabric.
My son, my first model, is my inspiration and from one thing to another, my collection is outlined and asserted by textile prints that you will find in each piece of The Friendly Monster collection.
Born in the late 80’s – the Club Dorothé generation – I draw on my childhood memories to create my textile prints. Parker Lewis never loses and Saved by the BellThese two unforgettable series from the 90’s give me The Friendly Monster’s own color palette for a sparkling result.
OUR PHILOSOPHY, THE OVERALLS!
We love Denis La Malice ’s look and above all we think that nonsense makes us grow. I made the overalls THE centerpiece of my collection. The overalls are for the little ones, but also for the older ones who have kept their childish soul. The pieces are unisex and I adapt the models for adults. You will find my overalls in different variations, between clothing and disguise with all the necessary comfort. And the small more, I realize the personalized orders, it is enough to send me an email with your small envy.
