Wind was founded in 1954 by the De Zutter family and has since become an international benchmark in high-quality textile manufacturing and design. Located in a region renowned for its textile industry since the 14th century, Wind embodies experience and tradition.

The origin of the name Wind comes from the beautiful house where all our offices, stock, and quality control are still located. The name of the house is “Huyze Windroos.” In the 1950s and 1960s, companies used telex to communicate with each other, and a four-letter word was needed. We chose the first four letters of the house: “WIND.”

Today, the new generation aims to continue the masterful skill of the house and the brand’s values ​​while also adding a personal touch. Wind distinguishes itself today through its exclusive design, its inspired collections, and its service philosophy.
