Biographical Info
Calogero Di Natale is an Belgian-Italian designer, born in Brussels, and is working between Paris and Brussels.
In 2006, he graduated in fashion design from La Cambre, and after finishing an internship in menswear, Calogero decided to focus on this segment of fashion. For 4 years he worked as a designer on one of the lines of the Mugler house.
At the same time, he also designs an exclusive menswear collection for the department store Galeries Lafayette. In July 2011, he returns to Brussels and decides to start his own label: going back to womenswear and a first accessories collection.
Fascinated by accessories, it was a natural and obvious choice. His creative universe is marked by a certain form of minimalism: sober and complex and the same time. He is intrigued by the beauty of daily living, interested by a form of banality that he wants to sublime. His work is reflected in subtle designs and pure forms, combining a multitude of details and graphic cuts.
There is the notion of a renaissance, a second life for natural forms.
A major feature in his accessories line is the ethical approach of the treatment of leather and the creation and production of each piece, 100% Made in Belgium.
This first collection is a new challenge and a profound realization of a unique vision.
