Lorenzo Lebon, créateur de l’extrême, ose des sacs dépecés de toute convention. Il fut l’un des premiers à s’intéresser et à détourner cet objet qu’est le sac à main, qui, pendant longtemps, a été boudé par la mode, considéré à l’époque comme un accessoire désuet.Après des passages dans des écoles de stylisme, il a en effet lancé une première collection de «sacs» minimaliste en 1991. Où il y développe des lignes pures, géométriques et sculpturales. Sans cesse aiguillé par des concepts novateurs, ce créateur atypique, au fil des collections, déniche ses matières et ses idées dans des sphères où peu ont l’audace de s’aventurer. Bien que le cuir est devenu sa matière d’expression, il l’expérimente en y associant d’autres, en détournant celles-ci de leurs fonctions initiales: filet de protection d’échafaudage, caoutchouc, toile de lin d’ameublement, élastique, accessoires militaires ou d’alpinistes, impression à même le cuir, etc. Son style graphique, où le cuir noir, rouge, blanc et argent dominent, rappelle tantôt le rock chic des années 80, le minimaliste des années 90, ou encore la fraîcheur des années 70. En 1998, il interrompit ses créations personnelles pour entamer une série de collaborations avec différentes marques de vêtements afin d’accessoiriser leur ligne.
Cela aura été le cas pour la marque Plein Sud, APC, Vanessa Bruno, J-C Jitrois, Chanel, Ann Demeulemeester et bien d’autres. Boulimique de créativité, en 2002, il reprend son travail d’introspection et nous sort ses tripes. Le cuir, la «peau» exercent sur lui une extrême fascination. Lorenzo Lebon ose, compose et refuse le simple usage esthétique et fonctionnel du sac. Il poursuit ses créations par une démarche conceptuelle. En pleine effervescence du mouvement végétarien dans ce début de siècle, il tient à mettre en avant-plan la matière dont il travaille, le cuir, autrement dit la « peau ». Il allie la création à la prise de conscience : le sac en cuir est avant tout une matière, à l’origine une matière extraite d’un animal,… ce que l’on oublie trop souvent. Il poussera la provocation dans son paroxysme, en imaginant pour l’intérieur de ses sacs, une doublure en trompe-l’œil représentant “l’écorché”, qui devient durant quelques années son signe distinctif. Elle vous livre en effet un visuel de fibres musculaires, de viscères, de cartilages,… . Gore? Pas du tout. Juste l’envie, par jonglerie mentale, de partager et de titiller les trop futiles humains et leurs paradoxes! Cette doublure que l’on pourrait croire d’un mauvais goût est dévoilée d’une manière subtile et son motif à peine reconnaissable. Le cuir est devenu pour lui un véhicule d’expression, une seconde peau, renvoyant le gentil sac de madame (ou de monsieur) tout le monde à son anodin bétail. Ses sacs sont son à son image: écorchés vifs. Aujourd’hui, assagi de ses démons créatifs, il confectionne une nouvelle ligne de sac plus abordable dans ses concepts. Ils se veulent fonctionnels par des jeux de transformations… sacs en origami, se pliant à souhait, changeant de cette façon autant la manière de les porter que ses volumes, suivant les circonstances de la journée. L’idée de Lorenzo Lebon reste habitée par la croyance que la forme suit la fonction. Plus on cerne cette dernière, plus est accomplie est la première. History is what the present is to tomorrow. With that idea in mind, Wouters & Hendrix collected thirty years of legacy in five uniquely designed time capsules. Each capsule contains statement artefacts that will stand the test of time. Without holding onto the past, and yet keeping its finger on the pulse of today’s zeitgeist, Wouters & Hendrix is looking forward to the future. Against the backdrop of the digital revolution, each capsule was translated into a short 3D film directed by the young visual artist Frederik Heyman.
Just as every jewel in the Wouters & Hendrix universe is created with thought and care and is the result of a unique balance between traditional craftsmanship and today’s trends, fusing the fleetingness of video art with the longevity of jewelry art is another manifestation of their sense of postmodernism. Likewise, the idea of preserving thirty years of Wouters & Hendrix in time capsules can be regarded as a futurist act. While the feasibility of electronic and magnetic storage media being preserved into the distant future may be hotly debated, history has proved that jewels stand the test of time.

Since 1987
Fabienne Delvigne is a Belgian milliner and has specialized since 1987 in the design and manufacturing of Haute Couture hats, jewellery, headgear, handbags and other fashion accessories. After studying Marketing, she launched her own company and became an iconic designer in Belgian fashion.
The elegant headwear that Fabienne Delvigne has created since the late 80’s has secured the Belgian milliner’s position as the go-to designer for members of the Royal Families of Belgium, The Netherlands, Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and Sweden.
Her know-how has been rewarded since 2001, when she was initially awarded the official patent of « Belgian Royal Warrant Holder ». Fabienne Delvigne’s sophisticated and timelessly chic millinery has won her wide acclaim and this title was followed by the appointment of Fabienne Delvigne as a member of the Chamber of High Commerce « Brussels Exclusive Labels » in 2004. The same year, Fabienne Delvigne participated in the « 5 femmes de goût » catwalk show and conference at the Royal Evian alongside Chantal Thomass, Pascale Mussart (Hermès) and Anne-Sophie Pic (starred Chef).
In 2013, for the inauguration of H.R.H. King Philippe I, his wife Queen Mathilde wears the « Envolée » hat made of abaca fibre and silk. The trim of this hat symbolizes two wings that the designer imagined to symbolize the takeoff of Belgium under the reign of the new royal couple. Shortly after his nomination, H.R.H. King Philippe, like his father King Albert II had done in 2001, granted Fabienne Delvigne the title of Supplier to the Court of Belgium, perpetuating her position as a provider to the Belgian royal family.
Fabienne Delvigne collaborates with other fashion houses such as Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Dior or Natan. In 2007, she created a hat for the Van Cleef & Arpels catalogue.
Very imaginative, she likes to collaborate with other talents to express her know-how in new and original ways, but always with refinement.
In 2014, for example, she was asked by the Carrières du Hainaut to design their new booth at the Biennale de Courtrai (a design and decoration fair).
Two years later, her talent was once again asked to create hats for Maison Guerlain launching their new perfume « Intense » for the « La Petite Robe Noire » collection.
She has also made crystal or chocolate hats and, more recently, she collaborated with BMW and created two hats for the launch of the new i8 Roadster.
Reasonably eccentric with a touch of originality, her fashion accessories are aimed to make woman look more beautiful and attractive. Her style is definitely feminine, aerial and innovative.
In 2008, the Studio Collection offering hats for everyday wear was launched, it is also available for gentlemen. Today, these collections can be purchased through her e-shop launched in 2018.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of la Maison, Fabienne Delvigne retraces her extraordinary career as a Belgian entrepreneur, hat designer and holder of high luxury craftswoman. Her book “Sublimer par la différence” is prefaced by Stéphane Bern and Diane von Furstenberg.
In the year 2021, the Caring Hat project was born. This line of hats, turbans and caps is designed for people suffering from alopecia (hair loss) as a result of cancer treatment or a serious illness.
Fabienne Delvigne’s hats and accessories are designed and handmade in her designer’s studio in Brussels.

Els Vansteelandt (°1961) started as an independent gold and silversmith in 1997. She designs jewellery and objets d’art. Her work is displayed in museums and galleries in major cities in Europe.
Els works both in her own studio in the green outskirts of Brussels and in an open workshop and showroom in a more urban setting in the centre of Brussels.
Anything can be inspiration for me. I just need to look around, observe, let my imagination start to flow and connect shapes. The emotional impulses that inspire me to design, lead me straight to the precious metal. I begin working with an idea about the form a piece of jewellery or an object will take. Much happens as I work, and I let my material take the lead. Whether this process results in a brooch or a silver spoon… cannot be predicted. Unforeseen events and unexpected variations make my material an endless world to explore and discover.

From discarded flags to unique and sustainable gadgets
Anyone holding a Flagbag item will immediately see that it is a unique creation. And a sustainable one, because the hip gadgets we make are the result of upcycling and social employment. Whether it’s a bicycle bag, a laptop sleeve or something else, our creations are all living proof that sustainability and design can indeed go hand in hand.
Smart recycling
As an upcycling project, Flagbag is a textbook example of the cradle-to-cradle principle. We use discarded flags, pennants and sails, which would otherwise end up on the waste mountain, and we give them a new life as a hip design object in a smart and unique way. We use the flags and sails as raw materials for unique shoulder bags, bicycle bags or toilet bags. We also try to recover the other raw materials, such as zippers, as much as possible from old textiles. Even the sewing machines we work with are second-hand. In this way we contribute to a better environment and a smaller mountain of waste.
We strive for a 100% local product. We keep the distance from raw material to finished product as small as possible so that the impact on the environment is also as small as possible. The flags and sails come from municipalities and companies in Belgium and are processed in a local workshop by local workers.
Social employment
In addition to an upcycling project, Flagbag is also a training and social employment project: we help people who find it difficult to find work on the regular job market. Our employees, people from disadvantaged groups, use a sewing machine to convert the old flags and sails into bicycle bags, shoulder bags and other unique items. They derive great job satisfaction from the responsibility they are given to us and are justifiably proud of their creations. And who knows, thanks to the work and training they receive at Flagbag, they may grow into the mainstream economy.
Who is behind Flagbag?
Flagbag is an initiative of De Springplank vzw. De Springplank vzw is a tailor-made company: our core task is to offer tailor-made work and support to people who find it difficult to find a job on the regular labor market. In this way they find meaningful daytime activities, financial security and job satisfaction. Thanks to this work experience and the broadening of their competences, they often find a regular job after a few years through a transfer process.
In order to give as many people as possible a tailor-made job, De Springplank vzw is active in various domains: recycling activities “Okazi”, upcycling with Flagbag, recycling with Creazi, assembly of (company) bicycles with Velovisie, rental and maintenance of bicycles via bicycle paradise Limburg. be, operation of bicycle points at the stations of Genk, Hasselt, Sint-Truiden and on the Portavida Welfare Campus in Genk and the concept store with vintage loft Hendrikshuis in the center of Hasselt.

Anne Masson and Eric Chevalier have collaborated since 2006.
Both trained in textile design, their work results of an investigation and experiment with materials. The pair explores different possible levels of working on the design of textiles, from the raw material to the finished product and its multiple facets -sometimes on the yarn, sometimes on the pattern, on a structure, texture or on a specific shape-. They deal with a wide range of processes and techniques that reveal unexpected views of materials. Radical and precise gesture changes some used or waste items into a new shape and functionality. They often use craft-related processes combined with industrial implementation, sometimes each practised in turn on the same item.
Besides a self-initiated production seen as an exploratory field, the tandem questions textiles in different contexts, as a medium linked to intimate and collective issues. Driven by the pleasure of making and stimulated by transdisciplinary practices, they collaborate with architects, designers and choreographer. The experience with architect offices has brought the studio to meet sharp technical requirements with a sensitive approach, in order to influence effective and affective qualities of the inhabited space. Investing different scales from the very structure of materials to scale 1 of prototypes and space, working with a network of selected suppliers, makers and external collaborators are driving forces for their practice.
Their work is part of private and public collections, such as Gent Design Museum, CID Grand Hornu, Brussels Mode et Dentelle Museum, CNAP in Paris and Barbier-Mueller in Geneva.
Anne runs the textile design Master degree at La Cambre art and design academy in Brussels. Graduated from La Cambre, textile design department, she won the Federal Swiss cultural award (1994, 1996, 1998), collaborated with the accessories designer Eric Beauduin in Brussels and with the Edelkoort Studio in Paris.
Eric teaches in the Textile design and in the Fashion department at La Cambre. After graduating from l’ESAAT in Roubaix (DSAA, 1996), Eric worked as a free lance textile designer for Christian Lacroix Haute-Couture and in research for the automotive industry.
Flore Fockedey has been a regular collaborator since 2018, after an Architecture Master degree at ULB La Cambre Horta in Brussels.
